OUR STORY
The inception of Warfront Heritage is deeply rooted in a shared passion for history between myself, Turner Jack, and my mother, Audrey Marie. Our entrepreneurial journey began as a personal quest for solace and connection following the sudden loss of my father. In the wake of this loss, my mother and I embarked on short trips together, which gradually evolved into extensive yearlong journeys around the globe. These travels not only provided me with a unique global education, bypassing the constraints of the traditional school system, but also strengthened our bond and deepened our mutual love for the past.
Our true journey of self-discovery commenced in 2012 when my mother delved into genealogy research, a pursuit she had only scratched the surface of in the early 1980s. This exploration was a profound learning experience for me, as it unveiled the intricate tapestry of both my mother's birth family and my father's ancestral line. Immersed in the world of heritage, my fascination with World War One sparked my mother's own passion for history. A pivotal moment came with the discovery of my great-grandfather's wartime trunk in my grandparents' basement after their passing. This find propelled us to delve deeper into our ancestral roots, influencing our future travel research destinations and shaping the foundation of our business.
With my mother's expertise in analogue photography, videography and genealogical and military research, combined with my pursuit as a war historian specialist and professional aerial videographer, we have forged a unique partnership. Together, we channel our talents to share our knowledge and passion for the past with others. Through creative endeavours and educational initiatives, we are committed to inspiring others by preserving the narratives of war-era history and the lives of soldiers both before and after the war. Warfront Heritage is not just a business; it is a testament to our dedication to illuminating the stories of World War One and bridging the past with the present.
